What happens when you visit this website
The website consists of fixed pages. It sets no cookies and loads no fonts, scripts or images from other servers. When a page is requested, the web server processes your IP address and the requested page, as technically necessary to deliver the page and to ward off abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and stable operation (Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation). We delete the server logs as soon as they are no longer needed for this purpose.
The website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The server is in Germany. Hetzner processes the data on our behalf.
Traffic statistics with Umami
We measure which pages are visited, using Umami. Umami runs on our own server, sets no cookies and builds no profiles of individuals. So there is no banner to click away. The measurement only runs once the Umami server is in operation.
The waitlist
When you sign up for the waitlist we store your e-mail address, your language, the time of the sign-up and of the confirmation, the form you used and the version of the consent text. Nothing more.
- Purpose: we invite you to the private beta of Life Planner as soon as your place is ready.
- Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation). We use double opt-in: you are on the list only once you click the link in the confirmation e-mail.
- Duration: we delete entries that were not confirmed after 14 days. We delete confirmed entries when you unsubscribe, and at the latest once you have been invited and created an account or the beta ends.
- Unsubscribing: every e-mail has a link that deletes your address right away. You can also write to the controller at the e-mail address above.
Who processes data on our behalf
- Brevo
- Delivery of the waitlist e-mails (the confirmation e-mail). Brevo receives your e-mail address for this. The provider is Brevo GmbH, Köpenicker Str. 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany. A data processing agreement with Brevo is in place, as part of the Brevo terms of service.
- Hetzner
- Hosting of this website (see above), Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, server in Germany.
- meinGPT
- The AI of Life Planner runs through meinGPT, with processing in the EU. This concerns the app only, not this website, and only if you agree to the use of the AI in the app. No model is trained on your data.
- Umami
- Traffic statistics, on our own server (see above). Nothing is passed on to third parties.
Your rights
You can ask at any time for information about your data and have it corrected, deleted or restricted. You can object to the processing, withdraw a consent with effect for the future and receive your data in a common format. Write to the controller or to the data protection officer for this, the addresses are above. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.
Changes
If something changes, we adjust this page and show the new date at the top. The privacy policy of the app itself is shown when you create an account there.
